E-bike trip around Verbier
Two days exploring the trails around Verbier, with a rest at the Hotel de l’Arze. We usually start our day with a gentle climb on 4×4 trails. With over 300 singletracks in the valley, the guide will choose the ones best suited to your level and current conditions.
Of course, your guide is also there to give you tips on overcoming obstacles or helping you to position yourself better on the bike. At Verbier Ride, the pleasure is also in improving your technique.
For lunch, we’ll either have a picnic or stop off at a restaurant or one of the many cabins along the way. In the evening, you can enjoy the sauna or the hotel garden, before dining in one of Le Chable’s local restaurants. On the second day, we set off for new horizons before finishing our adventure by mid-afternoon.
What type of E-bike should I use?
Depending on the tour we organize, we leave with two batteries or a charger, so we can put our boots back on at lunchtime. The rental bikes are fully suspended, with the latest technology available.

Depending on the conditions, we leave either for the Rhone valley, or for the bottom of the Bagnes or Bruson valleys. With a wide range of itineraries to choose from, our local guides will always find the route that’s right for you, combining pleasure and safety.

This holiday is open to all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, enjoy an exceptional time in one of the huts near Verbier, with two guided days to discover the best areas of the region on an electric mountain bike.
On the way up, we use 4×4 or single-track roads and a few road potions to get into the valley floor.
With so many different itineraries to choose from, our local guides will always find the route that’s right for you, combining pleasure and safety. At lunchtime, we organize either a picnic in the great outdoors or lunch in one of the many local refuges or restaurants. You won’t want to leave once you’ve tasted the pies they bake in summer. But fortunately, the electric mountain bike is there to give you the magic kick to get going again.

Tour des Combins
The Combins tour is an adventure not to be missed. You’ll pass through areas of imposing beauty and enjoy the warm welcome of the Italian refuge warden. Because of its difficulty, this tour is for experienced riders only.
The Col de fenêtre Durand is one of the most beautiful high-mountain passes there is, but requires a minimum of training to get there. On the other side, there’s nothing but beautiful single-track rolling through the pines.
After passing through Italy, we return to the Swiss side via the Grand-Saint-Bernard sector, before returning to our starting point.

This adventure starts in Le Châble, heading for the legendary Grand-Saint-Bernard pass. Once over the border: Viva Italia!
Our perched refuge offers panoramic views over the valley… and a moment of pure bliss in its outdoor sauna. Guaranteed relaxation after a great day’s riding!
The next day, we begin a 1500m descent to Aosta. Espresso or gelato break (or both, let’s be crazy) in the historic heart of the town, before climbing again – this time by shuttle – to the heights near the pass.
What’s next? Around 35 km of pure pleasure, mostly downhill, through alpine meadows, forests and flowing singles. Back to Le Châble with a smile on our faces and tingling legs.

Day 1: Chamonix (FR)- Verbier (Swiss)
Your adventure begins in Chamonix, the iconic alpine town at the foot of Mont Blanc. After a detailed briefing, you set off on the trails that wind through breathtaking landscapes. The first kilometers offer spectacular views of towering peaks and glaciers as you ride towards Switzerland. The journey to Verbier, a world-renowned mountain biking destination, takes you through alpine meadows, dense forests, and panoramic ridges. Arriving in Verbier, enjoy a well-deserved rest and take in the stunning surroundings of this vibrant Swiss resort.

Day 2: Verbier - Col du St Bernard
The second day starts with a tour in Verbier with a breathtaking views of the 4,300-meter-high Grand Combin and the Mont Blanc massif. As you ride through high alpine terrain, you’ll experience fast-flowing descents and singletracks. At midday, stop for great picnic or a hearty meal in a traditional mountain inn. The route then takes you through wild alpine pastures and valleys rich in wildlife toward the famouse Col de Mille, before reaching the Col du Grand Saint-Bernard, a historic pass on the Swiss-Italian border. Spend the night in a cozy mountain lodge, where you can enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Day 3: Col du Grand Saint-Bernard – La Thuile (Italy)
Today, you leave Switzerland behind and descend into the stunning Aosta Valley in Italy. The route takes you along ancient mountain paths and through picturesque alpine villages that have preserved their traditional charm. Stop along the way to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and Ice sceem. The scenery transitions from high-altitude landscapes to vineyards and chestnut forests, offering a stunning contrast. The day’s ride offers a mix of flowy trails and technical sections, ensuring an exciting challenge for all riders. After lunch we will get in the van to do a quick suttle before the last decente toward La Thuile. your authentic alpine accommodation provides a perfect spot to relax with a spa after another thrilling day in the mountains.

As you descend towards Beaufort, you’ll be greeted by expansive green meadows dotted with wildflowers and charming wooden chalets. This region is renowned for its Beaufort cheese, and you’ll have the chance to taste this local delicacy in an authentic setting. Enjoy a warm evening in a traditional French lodge, soaking in the peaceful alpine atmosphere.

Arriving back in Chamonix, celebrate your achievement with the Verbier Ride team and reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed.
Before or after your trip, take some time to explore Chamonix. Ride the famous Aiguille du Midi cable car up to 3,800 meters for a spectacular panorama over the Alps, or hop on the Mer de Glace mountain train to visit one of Europe’s most famous glaciers.

For the first three days, you’ll explore the foothills of Mont Ventoux, ride through classic Provençal landscapes, and enjoy the flavours that make this region unforgettable. You’ll visit the lively market and ancient ruins of Vaison-la-Romaine, sample local cheeses directly from producers, and stop for relaxed wine tastings in some of the area’s finest domaines.
The second part of the trip takes you into the heart of the Luberon. You’ll stroll through the colourful streets of Roussillon, explore L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue with its canals and antique shops, and visit the impressive spring of the Sorgue in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. On certain days, you may also choose to discover Château Lacoste, where art, architecture, and wine blend beautifully.
After each ride, unwind in carefully selected hotels and enjoy easy-going dinners featuring some of Provence’s best cuisine. Day by day trip
Day 1: Crillon le Braves -Bédoin
sDepending on arrival time, a quick lunch and warm-up ride around at the foot hill of the Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail the cycling itinerary begins with a 20–40 km (12–24 miles) loop from Crillon-le-Brave to Beaumes-de-Venise, passing through Bédoin, known as a true cycling hub.

Day 2: Verbier - Col du St Bernard
Day 2 offers a 40 km ride toward Col de la Madeleine, then down to Vaison-la-Romaine, where you’ll discover its vibrant market and scenic wine roads by Gigondas, Séguret, Vaqueyras. For the return, you can choose between hopping in the support van or continuing the ride back to the hotel—your day, your pace.
Diner is in le Baroux for a cosy and authentique Mediterranean diner.
Visits: Optional visit of the Roman archaeological site and the medieval old town, as well as a cheese tasting in Vaison-la-Romaine.
Before dinner, we usually organise a workshop with Céline, our local wine expert, to help you discover and understand the region’s wines in a fun and engaging way.

Day 3: Gorges de la Nesque - Summit Mt Ventoux
On Day 3, because riders often have different expectations, we offer two distinct options. Option one is a 35 km (24 miles) ride through the stunning limestone canyon of the Gorges de la Nesque. If you prefer to start at the top, you can enjoy a gentle 20 km downhill stretch with an easy 2% grade.
Alternatively, those who want a bigger challenge can take on Mont Ventoux, choosing either the climb from Bédoin—the most demanding—or from Sault, a slightly gentler route.
Since this is your final day in the region, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. You may choose to relax by the pool or join a wine tasting before dinner.

Day 4: Ventoux to Lubéron region
you can choose a relaxed start. A scenic 40 km (25 miles) ride brings you into the heart of the Luberon, following quiet roads with one climb and one descent before reaching your hotel. As an alternative, riders who didn’t cycle through the Gorges de la Nesque the previous day have the option to do it now and rejoin the group for lunch.

Day 5: Ile sur Sorgues - Fontaine de Vaucluse
You begin the day with a gentle descent toward the river before joining a quiet cycling path that guides you to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. This 60 km (37 miles) loop gives you time to explore the town’s famous antique market or continue on to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse to see the powerful natural spring that gives rise to the Sorgue River.
After a delicious picnic by the water, you can decide how you want the rest of the day to unfold. If you prefer a shorter ride, you’re welcome to hop in the support van and return early to the hotel to enjoy the pool. Riders who want to keep going will tackle a short, energetic climb before cruising back through endless stretches of vineyards on the return to the hotel.

Day 6: Roussillon - Ménerbes - Lacoste - Gordes
You’ll ride a beautiful loop through some of the Luberon’s most iconic villages. Wander through Roussillon and its striking ochre trail, stop for a coffee in Lacoste, continue to Ménerbes, and follow the road past the ancient Roman Pont Julien. Lunch is usually enjoyed in Gordes, a village celebrated for its dramatic viewpoints and timeless stone architecture. A wine tasting is organised in the afternoon before heading to one of our favourite dinner spots.
Visits that day : Roussillon Village and Ocre path, pont Julien from 12th century, Lacoste village and castle if open, Gordes village, Abaye de Sénanque, wine testing before diner.
